Author Biography

Lianne Farbes is a on air beauty expert and educator with over 25 years in the makeup industry. She has appeared in segments on ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox networks in several different regional markets. Her award winning blog TheMakeupGirl.net was voted best of the web by InStyle Magazine in 2009. As a writer/beauty editor Lianne has also contributed to several online publications such as Mwari Magazine, The Fairest, She Finds, TheGloss.com and Clutch Magazine to name a few. In May of 2010, Lianne was named Head of the US Edition of the Parisian social platform HelloCotton. She currently serves as a brand ambassador for Avon, Inc., RoC Skincare and Johnson's Baby. She is also the founder of the highly successful online editor event in New York City called Cocktails & Couture.
