He has gone to many Indian reservations and several countries to train the teachers to adapt their instruction to the cultures of their students. He loves to travel, but as he travels, and visits various cultures throughout the world, he prefers to go in and live with a Native family, and learn the culture by living it. He has done this in several locations on each of the six continents and several Pacific islands.
