Author Biography

Zane Brock is a retired elementary school art teacher who spent 30 years in the Gwinnett County School System in Georgia. His love of kids, art, and teaching was obvious anytime you happened to walk past his classroom. It was also evident throughout most of the school by the loud laughter emanating from his door and echoing down the hallway. Zane is also a sculpture and printmaker whose works have won many awards and been featured in many regional exhibits. (www.zanebrock.com) He is also an accomplished musician and songwriter who teaches piano at a nearby rock academy. When not practicing art, Zane drives all those within earshot crazy with his incessant 5-string banjo picking. He and his wife of 41 years, Pam, have two wonderful daughters and have made spoiling their first grandson, Brock, one of their primary goals in life.
