Gordon J DeLand was born and raised in Central New York State. A US Navy veteran, he has lived on both coasts as well as Honolulu, Las Vegas and Dallas TX. He has been a pastor, plumber, hospice chaplain, taco wrapper and more. He holds an earned masters degree and has retired to Chicago where he mostly writes and walks the lake shore.
