Dr. K Chan is a public health scientist and an integrative health coach who helps people find balance in their professional and personal life using science-based wellness tools. After several years working at the laboratory bench, Dr. Chan developed severe low back pain and when it too painful to stand and sit for too long, she decided to take better care of her well-being. Through practicing yoga and Pilates, her lower back pain dissipated. She then studied to become a certified STOTT Pilates and Total Barre instructor. As an integrative health coach, researcher and scholar, Dr. Chan helps design a personalized wellness plan using evidence-based strategies and physical activities such as yoga, pilates, and meditation for self-care. She is the author of the "The Wellness Plan: The DNA guide to healthy living". Her mission is to share her knowledge of making healthy mini-habits for a long-lasting life of optimal well-being.
