The Vineyard Surprise is the finale in the series that started with The Story of Love and the Missing Lara, followed by The Murder of George. It continues the story of John ("Fuzzy") and Lara Gutwetter Fuzzrock, two people with an enduring love for one another, a love that only deepened through their years together. Fuzzy and Lara, now in their seventies, are shocked to learn of a disturbing incident that occurs on the beautiful timberland near their vineyard. Fuzzy--who had all but retired from investigative police work--is once again asked to help with the investigation. His ability to use a sixth sense, sometimes called his 'j-sense', makes him an obvious choice to help solve the mystery. But this time, it's personal. And with age comes other challenges, but Fuzzy and Lara prove that patience and love can conquer just about anything.

Author Biography

Leo A. Kiesewetter has a master's degree in business education; as well, he has completed some postgraduate work in business. He spent 29 years as a teacher and administrator at the high school and college levels. For fourteen of these years, he was the chairperson for the department of business at at Illinois Central College in East Peoria, Illinois. Earlier, he was an accountant for a real estate developer and then owned his own real estate company. After high school, he served two years in the military. THE VINEYARD SURPRISE is the final installment of a trilogy that includes the original book, THE STORY OF LOVE AND THE MISSING LARA, followed by THE MURDER OF GEORGE. In addition, he published a book of poetry titled REFLECTIONS OF POETRY.
