Author Biography

Author, Speaker & Entrepreneur Andrea M. Smith, empowers others through the promotion of self-love and encouragement. After struggling for over 30 years with the tenacious battles of low self-esteem and depression stemming from being molested from the ages of 11-13, the ability to disassociate from such a devastating act became the coping mechanism she used for years to keep hidden and under control the pain she felt. After being unable to no longer hide the scars of her abuse, Andrea sought for the strength and courage to break free and overcome. The writing of her book "Restore Such a Woman", became the tool that she used to chronicle her journey and deal with what would unfold during her process of restoration and healing. While the process was difficult, healing has taken the place of hurt, increasing self-esteem motivates her the guilt and shame she once harbored has been eliminated and the blame for her abuse now rest with her abuser. A nurturing mother, successful entrepreneur and author, Andrea moves through her healing by embracing the strength and determination to live in peace and continual hope. Her mission is to help others with emotional hurt to successfully breakthrough and overcome oppressive struggles. She is motivated to advocate, teach and counsel so that others may discover who they were created to be. She continually reminds them that they are not their experience, but full of promise, potential, purpose, greatness and hope. Healing and hope are their weapons to living a victorious life. No longer do they have to walk alone. Andrea is also the CEO of SAS Web & Graphic Design. She helps entrepreneurs & small business owners understand that creating an effective brand presentation does not just consist of a unique logo or catchy tagline. It is introducing their company in an informative and cohesive manner that causes their target audience to see the value and benefits of their products and services, and how doing business with them will meet their customer's bottom line. Her personal mantra is "The journey to discovering you will be exciting, it is the unveiling of what is unknown, while appreciating and celebrating what is known". She believes what you discover about yourself is achieved through lessons, that only your designed path could teach. She enjoys most spending time with family and friends. Andrea resides in Delaware.
