Author Biography
PATRICK BEREIT is a talented author and illustrator who loves to write and has a passion for Morocco. Bereit travels extensively and at only thirteen years old, has visited most of the American States and numerous countries, including Morocco. "From Iceland to Spain, from the Dominican Republic to Italy, from Australia to France, I've been to many countries and states across the globe, but my favorite is Morocco," quotes Patrick Bereit. "I love Morocco. I love how unique and exotic it is. Shopping in the souks of Marrakech was one of the most amazing things I have ever done. Another fond memory of mine from Morocco was visiting remote villages in the Atlas Mountains that were inhabited by poor Berbers. In the tiny towns my family and I joined Berber families in their homes and ate meals with them. Later that day, my sister and I rode on a donkey through the mountain passes. It was truly a fantastic experience!" Patrick currently resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with his parents and sister.
