Author Biography
Bassey Archibong Essien holds a Bachelor degree in Agriculture (B. Agric) Agronomy and a Master of Science degree (M.Sc.) Crop Science, all from the University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He has been involved in Agricultural Research and Lecturing for over Seventeen years. He taught several courses and has at various times served as Head of the Departments of Agricultural Technology and Crop Production Technology as well as external Examiner, Federal College of Agriculture, Ishiagu, Ebonyi State. He transferred his service and joined Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana Afikpo, Ebonyi State. As a senior Lecturer, he is currently Head, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Technology, School of Industrial Technology. He is a member of many professional bodies, and he has several articles to his credit in outstanding National and International journals. He has contributed numerous chapters in professional books.
