Author Biography

Corey Austin, author and founder of The Enlightened Ex-Offender, is dedicated to helping ex-offenders successfully rebuild their lives. Ms. Austin was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and was quickly introduced to the problems in society. At the age of twenty, Austin faced the justice system when she was placed into county jails, state prison, probation departments and homeless shelters. As an ex-offender, Austin shows us one's past doesn't define him or her, and through hard work and determination, a world of happiness and success can be obtained.
