Author Biography

Maureen Fergus's many books for young readers have been translated into a dozen languages, optioned for film and adapted for stage. They include award-winning picture books such as The Day My Mom Came to Kindergarten and The Reptile Club. Maureen lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with her family, and has never met a talking worm she wouldn't hire.
Mike Lowery is a New York Times-bestselling illustrator who has worked on dozens of books for children and adults, including The Day Dad Joined My Soccer Team, A Squiggly Story, Another Squiggly Story and The Way Downtown. He is also the author-illustrator of The Everything Awesome series and Random Illustrated Facts. In addition to books, Mike has worked on many illustration projects such as food trucks, greeting cards, tons of magazines and other fun stuff. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
