Writing under the name Will Hertling for children's novels and William Hertling for teen and adult science fiction, Mr. Hertling is an award-winning and best-selling author of science fiction about robots and artificial intelligence. His children, who loved Nancy Drew, The Boxcar Children, and Encyclopedia Brown, insisted he write a book for them. The Case of the Wilted Broccoli is his first children's novel.
