Mr. De La Guardia earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami in 1996. He is the author of a book on engineering entrepreneurship titled \u003ci\u003eEngineer to Entrepreneur: Success Strategies to Manage Your Career and Start Your Own Firm\u003c\/i\u003e published by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE Press). Mr. De La Guardia served as the President of the University of Miami, College of Engineering Alumni Association, from 2010 to 2012, chaired an advisory committee on entrepreneurship for the University of Miami College of Engineering from 2016 to 2017, and was a member of the University of Miami Herbert Business School Entrepreneurship Advisory Board in 2017. He serves as Chapter Advisor for his fraternity, Alpha Sigma Phi, Gamma Theta at the University of Miami since 2017.
