Author Biography
Randy Turner is an eighth grade English teacher at East Middle School in Joplin and spent more than two decades as a reporter and editor for southwest Missouri newspapers. He has written two novels and two non-fiction books. John Hacker is the managing editor of The Carthage Press and has covered Missouri and Kansas news for two decades. A graduate of Missouri Southern State University, Hacker has won numerous awards for reporting and photography. Turner and Hacker co-authored 5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado.
