Author Biography
Paul E. Hoffman is Murrill Professor of History at Louisiana State University. He earned M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Florida. Dr. Hoffman has written six books on Spain and the New World including the award-winning A New Andalucia and a Way to the Orient: The American Southeast during the Sixteenth Century.
