Author Biography

Azha Valliappa also known as `Kuzhandai Kavignar' .Azha Valliappa, born in Rayavaram in Pudukottai on November 7, 1922 studied Tamil under renowned scholars Madurai Mudaliar, Ilavazhaganar, M. Rajamanikkanar. He started composing poems when he was 13 years and authored as many as 55 books. Late Valliappa found the Children's Writers Forum in 1950 and later held the posts of president, general secretary for many years. He also held important positions like president, vice-president, secretary of the Tamil Writers' Forum.
