by Amy Stilgenbauer (Author)
A runaway seeks love and acceptance under the big top.
Abby Amaro dreams of singing at La Scala, but in 1957 Cleveland, good girls get married. When a too-ardent suitor proposes, Abby flees to a traveling carnival, hoping to escape trouble and find her voice.
Among the carnies, Abby discovers a new family and unexpected love with Suprema, a sideshow strongwoman. As they travel the Midwest, Abby learns about herself, her identity, and the courage to follow her heart. But when her old life threatens to catch up, Abby must decide what she's willing to risk for a chance at true happiness. Perfect for fans of historical romance and stories of self-discovery.
