by William McEwan (Author)
Family gathered around the kitchen table after the evening meal, where the only lighting was paraffin lamps or candles, this was a time to talk about the activities of the day and often provided an ideal setting for the story tellers in the family. It was also a time of much laughter and board games. How very different from to-days world where things have changed at such a disturbing pace.
