Jesus focused on the concept of releasing. He told people to let go of things all the time. Why do we need to know that today? Our hands are so full that we can't receive God's blessing. Our grip is so tight that we can't grab on to what really matters. RELEASE explores this concept found predominantly throughout the Gospels. We will look at what was released and what the person received in return. From the characters in the parables to the real people in Jesus' life, we'll see that releasing our lives actually fills our lives.
Author Biography
Troy Schmidt is an author and television writer with credits at Disney, Nickelodeon, Tommy Nelson and Lifeway. He has written for Max Lucado's "Hermie and Friends" series and is a producer for "The American Bible Challenge" with Jeff Foxworthy. His other book titles include "Saved," "40 Days," "Praying Through Genesis" and "Laughing Matters." Troy has a number of children's books out including "Their Side of the Story," where the animals tell their side of famous Bible stories and "Little Tree Found." He is also a Campus Pastor at First Baptist Church Windermere, Florida.
