Focusing on the history of the Greek American Left from the beginning of the twentieth century to the Cold War, this volume uncovers the threads that bound notions of radical social change to everyday immigrant life, tracing ethnic radicalism from the boundaries of a specific community to the epicenter of American social and political history.
Author Biography
Kostis Karpozilos is the Director of the Greek Contemporary Social History Archives (ASKI) and teaches history at Panteion University. In the past he has worked and taught at Columbia, Princeton, and Oxford Universities. He is currently completing a transnational history of Greek communism.
