Author Biography
Dr. Dawn Knighton is the Founder and C.E.O. of Radical Restoration Ministries, Inc. Dr. Knighton, or Pastor Dawn, as the local communities know her started RRM in 2008 after being radically delivered from a 26 year addiction to crack, a lifestyle of prostitution and multiple incarcerations. Upon surrendering her life to Jesus Christ, she has never looked back. Pursuing the vision God gave her for transitional housing for men and women coming out of incarceration, addiction, or a myriad of life circumstances, RRM was birthed. In the past seven years she has opened 6 discipleship homes and businesses to teach job skills and allow the financial means of support. She has laid down her life to empower, motivate and encourage others to move into their God-given destinies, helping to turn their dreams into realities. Dr. Knighton received her Doctorate in Theology and Biblical Counseling to further help the lost and broken of this world. She is now teaching Bible College in multiple prisons and is currently the Pastor for the ladies on Florida's Death Row. She is currently traveling across the country sharing platforms with leaders such as Pastor Sheryl Brady and has shared the stage of Daystar with Bishop T.D. Jakes. She was recently awarded the Humanitarian Award of 2015 by Pastor Sheryl Brady Ministries. She is the proud mother of 3 beautiful children and 3 grandchildren.
