Author Biography

Ozzie's Boys is a story that has bounced around in author Richard Hyatt's head for decades. He is a 1962 graduate of Sylvan High School so he understands this topic very well. Hyatt has been an award-winning reporter and columnist for newspapers in Georgia for more than 40 years. Most of his career has been spent with the Ledger-Enquirer in Columbus where he provided generations of readers a look at events of the day and the fascinating stories behind them. Georgia Trend Magazine named him one of the state's most influential journalists.
