He is co-editor of \u003ci\u003eMusic and Protest in 1968 \u003c\/i\u003e(Cambridge University Press, 2013), which received the American Musicology Society's 2014 Ruth A. Solie Award. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNaomi Matsumoto is currently Lecturer in Music at Goldsmiths, University of London and is working on Italian opera of the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries.
