Author Biography

Laurence St. John was born on January 11, 1965 in Toledo Ohio. While growing up, he attended Genoa High School (Comets) then graduated in 1983. In 1988, he received his first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. This gave him the self-confidence and perseverance needed to surmount anything that came his way. Out of school for fifteen years, he attended Owens State Community College where he obtained an Associate's Degree while working full-time. Working in the steel processing business for almost fourteen years, St. John's place of employment changed hands for the third time in 2006. In the same year, his first granddaughter was born which he described as one of the most uplifting moments of his life. It was during this time when he became determined to write his penned-up thoughts on paper. Three and a half years later he had written his first manuscript, Metatron: The Angel Has Risen, published in 2012. His second novel, Metatron: The Mystical Blade, was published in 2014. Laurence St. John currently lives in Northwood Ohio with his wife, Julie. His son, Joe, is married to Cari with three daughters: Kendall, Sadie and Harper.
