The Llobregat River Basin (Catalonia, Iberian Peninsula) is a natural geographic unit rich in megalithic constructions dating from 3200 to 1500 cal BCE. This book presents research on the spatial distribution of these constructions using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) analysis. Various analytical methods are used, including both geographical variables and architectural variables. The results obtained address questions of geographic space, and allow for discussion of the social dimension, paving the way for future investigation into the social aspect of Llobregat prehistoric megalithism.
