Professor James McCullagh is a lecturer in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Oxford and Director of the Mass Spectrometry Research Facility in the Department of Chemistry. He spent several years in industry before moving to academia where he now conducts research developing novel mass spectrometry and separation science techniques and applies these at the interfaces between chemistry, biology and medicine.
