Maginty's Quest is all about Magic. The type of Magic that is unique to the sorcerer and pirate named Red Rufus Maginty. Mortally wounded, Red Rufus gives his family name, Maginty, to a small octopus and charges him with carrying out an important Quest. His companion, a tiny turtle named Deacon - Ace Navigator - is given the task of navigating Maginty to wherever the Quest takes him. These little creatures finally get the call to leave their cosy cave home on the Island of Bermuda and travel in a magic bag to London, England, to save the descendants of Red Rufus from treacherous scheming crooks and a modern day pirate intent on bloody revenge. They pit their evil against Maginty and Deacon who recruit some old warrior veterans from the Chelsea Pensioners and other surprise allies..........
Author Biography
Chelsy Swann is the pen name of writers RJ Dodd and Mary Lou Clarke. RJ Dodd is a Director of Photography and works in the UK TV and Film Industry; he is also an author in his own right. Mary Lou is an EFL teacher. Both RJ Dodd and Mary Lou Clarke lived in Chelsea, London, for many years (where this story started).
