Author Biography

James Brinkley is Brooklyn born and bred and remains a Brooklyn resident with ties to Douglasville Georgia. Humble as they come, as a writer, he continues to grow and searches his soul for that which he writes. Love Lines comes to his heart mainly from being raised by a single mom who told him that, as a man, he should appreciate and cherish the love of a good woman. This book is an expression of love to the women out there who don't believe a man is capable of speaking his feelings. A man committed and dedicated to family life, Jahiem is father to one daughter and has one sibling, a sister. He is the son of a single mom who worked hard to provide the best that life had to offer to him and his sister. With cousins in abundance, there was never an absence of fun growing up in the projects of Brooklyn. Wanting to provide a better life for his daughter, Jahiem moved to Douglasville Ga. While in Georgia, he married a long time girlfriend and mother of his daughter and started a new life as a family with her and her son and daughter from previous relationships. Since then, they decided to part ways, but to this day remain good friends. Love Lines is for the love of the ladies. He intends to prove that the good man is not just someone who is a product of imagination but someone who is real. Words mean little if the actions don't coincide with them. In no way does he claim to be the perfect man but shows that he still has growing to do for self and for the love of that special lady.
