Author Biography

Author Martha Arrowood Pelc grew up in Gastonia, North Carolina, and still feels that pull of the North Carolina mountains that she shared with her dad. She has accompanied her husband on many trips back for a better understanding of who she is and who her ancestors were. Finding out how they lived and died became Pelc's quest and ultimately led her to find herself, as well.
