During the Great Depression, Collie, a teen-ager, and his dad become hoboes. Collie accidentally kills a 'bo and his dad dies from injuries received. Taken in by a childless farm couple, Collie befriends a renegade Indian and turns hobo again as he seeks a lost love only to discover that they had both mistaken lust for love. His true love becomes the woman who saves his life and they discover that the Lord does indeed work in mysterious ways.
Author Biography
Donald Bross and his wife, Jean, live on an acreage near Guthrie, Oklahoma. After retiring from Southwestern Bell Telephone, Donald turned to writing book-length manuscripts. Lonesome Hobo is his latest to be published, and he continues to write more.
