Kayla Meets Lizzy Bear tells the story of a young girl facing a dark time of hurt and pain who makes a friend that makes everything brighter. This book tackles the difficult topic of physical abuse in a way that is sensitive and also understandable for children. This will give parents and guardians an opportunity to have important conversations about this with their children in a way that isn't scary or overwhelming. This shows children the healing power that can come by helping others and spending time with friends.
