Nestled in between a mountain and a river in Northern California lies the historical acreage known as 'Camp Rose'. Since 1896, Camp Rose has been a gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. With a rich history from swimming to dancing, the property remained active all the way up until 1971, when a fire rendered it out-of-operation. It was then that the matriarch of our story, Jane Moore, came to Camp Rose. Let's just say, it was a match made in heaven.
Over the next 50 years, a lively community was built. First as a restaurant and then a theater, Camp Rose became just as dynamic as its owner, Jane. From frying up river fritters in her kitchen to building a live theater in her basement, she made sure there was never a dull moment. The amount of fond memories had by those who were entertained in this hidden gem are countless.
This book is a collection of those memories.
