She is the author of \u003ci\u003eBlood Relations: Transfusion and the Making of Human Genetics\u003c\/i\u003e (2020), which explores the intimate connections between the infrastructures of blood transfusion and the development of human genetics. She is co-editor of the open access volume, \u003ci\u003eHow Collections End: Objects and Loss in Laboratories and Museums\u003c\/i\u003e (2019). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eXan Chacko\u003c\/b\u003e is a lecturer in science, technology, and society at Brown University, whose research complicates narratives of scientific practices and knowledge. Her current book, \u003ci\u003eThe Last Seed: Botanic Futures in Colonial Legacies\u003c\/i\u003e situates the emergence of cryogenic seed banking as a response to catastrophic species loss of plant life in the twentieth century.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eJudith Kaplan \u003c\/b\u003eis a historian of the human sciences who teaches in the Integrated Studies Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
