Dr. Colquitt's research in model-based instruction (MBI) specifically focuses on the Personalized System of Instruction, the Sport Education Tactical Model, and Differentiated Instruction using MBI. Dr. Colquitt has been recognized with several awards, including the Georgia Society for Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) Young Scholar Award and the Georgia State University Early Career Teaching Award.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMichael Metzler, PhD, was the seminal author of \u003ci\u003eInstructional Models for Physical Education\u003c\/i\u003e.
