Author Biography
Federico Rocca was born in Sondrio in 1975. He earned a degree in History of Italian Cinema at the DAMS (Dept. of Visual Art, Cinema, Music and Theater) of the University of Bologna with a thesis on Peter Del Monte, which was commended at the Sacchi Prize competition. He then worked in the cinema department of the Telepiù and Sky television companies, later concentrating on fashion. As an editor and author he has produced Embroidery - Italian Fashion (2006), Silvana Mangano (2008), Contemporary Indian Fashion (2009) and Hermès, l'avventura del lusso (2011). A professional journalist, he is presently fashion editor of www.style.it, a Condé Nast fashion portal.
Alberta Ferretti is a fashion designer and owner of the eponymous boutique. In the 1980s became a big name in the fashion system to the point of listing on the stock exchange under the name Aeffe Group.
