Author's Note

At the beginning of 2025, I was set to be a first-time father,

and I wanted to express the joyous gift God had given me.

So, I decided to write a letter to my son, telling him how

happy, excited, and anxious I was to welcome him into my life.

What originated was something short and sweet but straight

from the heart. Then, I had the crazy idea of transforming the

words to my son into a children's book. I gave great

consideration on how I wanted the illustrations to be. I

determined that they had to be simple. My vision for the

illustrations was that the art should enhance the words without

overtaking their significance. I want the reader's imagination

to take over and create their own meaning using the essence

of the words and illustrations.
