This Quick Reference Guide helps to identify warning signs in children that are predictors of violence. Busy parents and professionals can then refer at risk children for help. Getting hurt or even killed on school grounds are just some of the concerns facing kids today. How do we explain the mayheim in our schools spreading like wildfire throughout the nation? . Regardless of the causes that lead kids to kill kids, there are facts that we can no longer ignore. Over 6,000 students were expelled last year for taking guns to school. Those expelled were the ones who were caught. Such daily exposure to fears of survival, whether real or magnified, make it harder for students to concentrate on what it takes to succeed in school.
