Author Biography
Tracy DeBrincat's novel "Hollywood Buckaroo" was awarded Black Lawrence Press' inaugural 2011 Big Moose Prize. Her debut story collection, "Moon Is Cotton & She Laugh All Night" (Subito Press/University of Colorado), won the 2010 Prize for Innovative Fiction and is a Finalist for the 2011 Next Generation Indie Book Award, the 2011 Eric Hoffer Fiction Award, and the 2011 Eric Hoffer Montaigne Medal. Her story "Badass was" awarded the 2011 Tusculum Review Prize and novel manuscript "Every Porpoise Under Heaven received" the 1996 Washington Award for fiction. She publishes short stories and poetry in journals from "Another Chicago Magazine" to "Zyzzyva."
