A fourth-generation minister, he was a pastor for 31 years before joining Focus on the Family. He was the former host of a daily radio program, \u003ci\u003e Lifeline to Truth\u003c\/i\u003e, in Salem, Oregon, and in the Los Angeles area, as well as host of a weekly television program, \u003ci\u003eA New Way to Live\u003c\/i\u003e, in Portland, Oregon. He is the coauthor, with Neil B. Wiseman, of \u003ci\u003ePastors at Greater Risk\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003ci\u003eFor Kids' Sake\u003c\/i\u003e, and \u003ci\u003eThe Shepherd's Covenant for Pastors\u003c\/i\u003e.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eNeil B.
