Season 1 of From Disciples to Disciplers, Growing in Jesus focuses on developing your relationship with Jesus. Because, let's face it, the first person you have to disciple is yourself. More to the point, you need to learn how to let Jesus show you how to be His disciple. So in this season, we focus on your relationship with Jesus and how to deepen it through spiritual disciplines such as prayer, worship, Bible study... and, not least of all, your relationships with other Christians (such as the ones you're sitting with).
Author Biography
Carl Simmons is author of the From Disciples to Disciplers series, and the interactive devotional Lay It Down: A Journey into Trust. Carl currently serves as coordinator/editor for the Character Formation Project, and previously was editor for smallgroupministry.com for five years. In addition to From Disciples to Disciplers and Lay It Down, Carl has co-authored and/or edited numerous Bible studies and books, working with Tony Dungy, Bill Bright, Tim Keller and others.
