This book examines the vulnerability of women in public spaces in India through the analysis of artistic representations ranging from emerging digital media, commercial Hindi films and graphic narratives to narratives of real and lived experiences of women. Swathi Krishna S. is assistant professor of English in the School of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Management at IIT Bhubaneswar, India. Srirupa Chatterjee is associate professor of English in the Department of Liberal Arts at IIT Hyderabad, India.
