Franciscan Footprints is a collection of spiritual reflections and inspirational stories in two books. BOOK I consists of word images and photography derived from a pilgrimage to Assisi and the surrounding caves, cloisters and countryside once frequented by Francis of Assisi. An Appendix contains original journal notations by some of the pilgrims. BOOK II is a collection of brief biographies of sixteen Third Order Secular Franciscans demonstrating how they have achieved serenity in their lives despite difficulties and sufferings.

Gloria Pearson-Vasey lives in a picturesque Ontario town with her husband, one of their four sons and a menagerie of sorts. Her background includes nursing, psychology, music, journalism and theology. She enjoys reading, travelling, nature, and time spent with family.
