Each topic begins with a brief introduction which gives a starting point for thought and is followed by several questions to forward the discussion. Scenarios for each topic are to be used in a group activity or for further discussion. If we know each other on a more personal level, it will be more meaningful to us when we sit next to them in worship, serve next to them in the kitchen, and comfort them during difficult times.
Author Biography
Susan D. Adams, author of Chalice Concordance, The Borrowed Pulpit, and Talk with Me, recently retired from Western Illinois University as a Manager/Analyst. She previously has been a licensed lay minister, a pulpit supply preacher and worship leader. She attends First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Macomb, Illinois, and sings in the choir. She lives in Macomb with her husband, two children, two cats and a dog, and enjoys watercolor painting and making bead jewelry.
