Siggaoat, MSc., R.N.D., received her B.S. in Nutrition in 1991 and M.S. in Applied Nutrition in 1997 from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. She is a board placer in state examination of Nutritionist-Dietitian in the Philippines in 1991. Also, holds a teaching license with a major in the physical sciences. She teaches undergraduate and graduate nutrition, foods, culinary, chemistry, and health-related courses in different schools and universities in Manila. She was the former School Director of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management of Central Colleges of the Philippines and the Pacific Global Hospitality Institute. Additionally, she chaired the Nutrition and HRM programs of Manila Tytana Colleges. Before joining the academe, she worked as the Senior Researcher at the Nutrition Center of the Philippines. A Research Specialist II at the Food and Nutrition Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology. She started working as a Research Associate at the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Studies, University of the Philippines Los Baños on finishing her undergraduate study. With her years of experience in teaching and research, her passion to learn further and share her craft, she is now into book writing. She also devotes time into private consulting and training. Ma. Christina G. Aquino is the Executive Director for Planning and Development of the Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila. She has teaching and administrative work experiences in various academic settings. She was a faculty members of the Department of Hotel Restaurant Institutional Management at the College of Home Economics, University of the Philippines; School Director of Center of Culinary Arts, Manila; and currently, at LPU, a private non-sectarian university. She was formerly the Dean of the College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management from 2006 to 2009.
