by Richard Harland (Author)
A profoundly original fantasy where angels clash in a war-torn world.
When Miriael, a Fourteenth Angel of Observance, crash-lands on a post-apocalyptic Earth, she expects extinction. Instead, she encounters Ferren, a tribesman whose curiosity outweighs his fear. Though enemies by birth, their unlikely friendship sparks a journey of discovery.
As Ferren learns the truth about the war between Heaven and Earth, the Humen army camp, and the grim reality of military service, he and Miriael challenge every rule and warning. Can their bond change the course of history? Perfect for readers seeking a funny, tender, and wise fantasy adventure.
