Author Biography
V駻onique Tadjo is a poet and novelist, a public intellectual and critic, and a writer of creative nonfiction and children's literature. Her novel Queen Pokou: Concerto for a Sacrifice, also translated by Amy Reid, was named an NPR Favorite Book of 2010. The original edition in French won the Le Grand Prix Litt駻aire dｴAfrique Noire. Amy Baram Reid is Professor of French Language and Literature at the New College of Florida.
