I invite you to come and sit with me awhile. I open my heart and life on these pages that you might take a brief look around. As I began to read the writings I had stored away through the years, they brought back memories. A lot of tears were shed. Some brought back tears of joy, some laughter; others were painful to remember, yet even they brought happiness to my heart. I want you to know the writings are as they were written. It's definitely a walk down memory lane.... Hopefully some will speak to your heart. Hopefully some will speak to the very place you have come through and maybe some to where you are now. Hopefully it is a road that you can travel with me, and it will inspire memories for you, whether it's happiness or sorrow; we'll walk together. This is what life is all about. Author Biography

LITTLE JAN was the name given to her by Wendy Bagwell almost accidentally on stage at the beginning of her musical career, when, as a teenager, she started her career with Wendy Bagwell and the Sunliters. They performed together for almost 40 years. That name has become her identity. Now the name Little Jan Buckner is recognized by millions across America and the world. From an orphanage home to Carnegie Hall, then first to Georgia's Hall of Fame, and then to Gospel Music's National Hall of Fame, to many nominations for Grammy Awards, to NARAS Awards, to Female Vocalist of the Year; the accolades of number one songs and awards keep coming. In these writings, you can share this journey with her, and her meteoric rise from obscurity to national fame. God has truly blessed her.
