As author of \u003cem\u003eMusic Lyrics and Domestic Violence: The Soundtracks of Our Lives\u003c\/em\u003e (2022), his scholarship can be found in a variety of academic journals, including \u003cem\u003eJustice Quarterly\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eJournal of Criminal Justice\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eJournal of Crime and Justice\u003c\/em\u003e, and the \u003cem\u003eJournal of Criminal Justice Education\u003c\/em\u003e, among others. The recipient of various teaching awards, Dr. Ross is a former Provost Fellow and Coordinator of the Public Affairs Doctoral Program at UCF. Dr. Ross spent several years as a group facilitator to a batterer's intervention program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has served as an expert witness in domestic violence cases.
