Kaat Toy (the pen name of Katherine Toy Miller) has an M.F.A. (creative writing-fiction) from the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. in English (creative writing-fiction) from Florida State University. A chapbook of her prose poems, In a Cosmic Egg, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2012. She has completed a collection of short stories and three novels and has published novel selections, short stories, flash fiction, prose poetry, and creative nonfiction. She also publishes and presents scholarly narratives on D.
