Author Biography
Lisa K. Winkler has loved The Nutcracker ballet since she was a child taking dance lessons. She had the idea to write the story in verse many years ago. Lisa has worked as a journalist and educator and in addition to writing, she loves cycling, knitting, yoga, cooking, reading, travel, theater and museums.
